CSV X Erica Wilson Edgartown

During the summer of 2021, after I closed our Charleston shop, I spend a summer on Nantucket managing the Erica Wilson store, a boutique on Nantucket's Main Street founded by creative force Erica Wilson, the "first lady of Needlepoint."  Erica's daughters and granddaughters have continued her legacy by marrying their grandmother's expert needlepoint heritage with coastal women's fashion. Last summer, I helped Erica's daughter Vanessa install and open their second retail store - this time in Edgartown in Martha's Vineyard, where I grew up vacationing as a little girl.

We made sure to include plenty of family photos of Erica, her furniture designer husband Vlad, Vanessa, and her daughters (one of whom - Gigi - helps run the Erica Wilson brand today). These female powerhouses are the steel magnolias of retail on Nantucket and now in the Vineyard, island resort towns teeming with tourists and shoppers starting in May. When I managed the Nantucket store I don't think I sat down once, the entire summer!

So, I am thrilled that The Candy Shop Cart will be calling their Edgartown, Mass store its summer home this year, loaded with coastal chic accessories to pair with signature EW Collection pieces. Each winter we've teamed up to do seasonal trunk shows in Naples, FL and the pairing was a hit. Look forward to seeing you on the vineyard where you can pick up some of our Sullivan's Knot Earrings while you stitch a summer needlepoint project, starting May 29th!
